Intended Audience: Faculty, staff, students, alumni, and retirees in the OSU and A&M systems.
Purpose
This article guides the user through transferring data from an old O365 account to a new O365 account.
Requirements
- Accounts & Access
- Active Okey account to both old and new Microsoft 365 accounts.
- Software & Tools
- Outlook desktop app (any version that supports .pst export/import) for full mailbox migration.
- Web browser for Outlook Web and OneDrive access.
- Sufficient local storage for temporary files (emails, contacts CSV, OneDrive ZIP).
- Email Migration
- Ability to move emails via Outlook (.pst) or, if unavailable, via webmail forwarding.
- Contacts Migration
- Ability to export/import contacts as CSV between accounts.
- OneDrive Migration
- Access to old and new OneDrive to transfer files, with sufficient local storage if downloading.
