Purpose
This article will help you to:
- Connect your device to the Eduroam network
- How to forget the Eduroam network on your device.
Requirements
No special software or access is necessary to perform these steps.

Operating Systems (OS)
Select the OS for your device to see the steps needed to connect to the Eduroam network. Click on images to enlarge them.
Apple (iPhone/iPad)
How to connect
- On your Apple device, go to the device “Settings” by clicking on the Settings icon.

- Open WIFI by clicking on the WIFI button

- On the next page, make certain that the WIFI is on. The slider should be to the right. Click the Eduroam button.

- Enter your O-Key Login Address (...@okstate.edu) into the Username field.
- Enter your O-Key password into the Password field.
- Press the Join button.

- Press the Trust button.

- After a few minutes, your device should say, “Connected to Eduroam".
Issues / Forget Network
If you are having issues connecting to Eduroam using the steps above, you may have a previous connection saved in your device for Eduroam.
To remove your O-Key credentials from the Eduroam Wi-Fi Network, please use the following instructions to forget the Network.
- On your Apple device, go to the device “Settings" Icon and press it.

- On the Settings page, open “Wi-Fi by pressing the Wi-Fi button.

- In the eduroam area, open “Information” by pressing the (i) Icon. (Make certain that the slider is to the right.

- On the Wi-Fi page, press the "Forget This Network” button.

- In the message box that opens, press the “Forget” button.

- Your device no longer remembers the O-Key credentials that were cached for Eduroam. Attempt to connect to Eduroam again by starting at the top of this section and logging into Eduroam with your O-Key credentials.
Android
How to Connect

On your Android device, navigate to the device Settings page by putting your finger at the top of the device's Home page and swiping down.

In the page that opens up, click on the Gear Icon to open Settings.

On the next page, click the Connections button.

On the next page, click the WIFI button. Make certain that the slider is to the right as shown in the screenshot.

On the next page, click the Eduroam button.

On the next (setup) page, do the following:
-
Choose PEAP from the EAP method drop-down menu.
-
Enter your O-Key login address (not your short username) in the Identity field.
-
Enter your O-Key password in the Password field.
-
Choose Use System Certificates from the CA-Certificate drop-down menu.
-
Online certificate status should be Don't Validate.
-
Make the Domain ad.okstate.edu.
-
Open the Advanced page.

In the Advanced page that opens, choose MSCHAPv2 from the Phase 2 Authentication drop-down menu. Then, press the Connect button.

After a few minutes, your device should say, "Connected to Eduroam".
Issues / Forget Network

Press the three dots on the top right of the Wi-Fi page.

On the box that opens, press the “Advanced” button.

In the Advanced page, press the “Manage networks” button.

In Manage Networks, press the Eduroam button.

On the next page, press the “Forget" button.

Your device no longer remembers the O-Key credentials that were cached in Eduroam. Attempt to connect to Eduroam again by logging into Eduroam with your O-Key credentials.
Pixel
Installing and Launching the App

Open the Play Store on your Android device.

-
Search for “geteduroam” and install the app.

-
Once installed, open the geteduroam app.
-
In the app, search for “Oklahoma State University” and select it.

-
On the next screen, enter your O-Key email address (e.g., firstname.lastname@okstate.edu).

-
Enter your O-Key password.
-
Tap Connect to begin the authentication process.

-
If successful, you’ll see a confirmation screen indicating that you are connected to Eduroam.
Issues / Forget Network
If you are having issues connecting to Eduroam using the steps above.

If you encounter issues, try restarting your Pixel or checking your O-Key credentials.

To remove your O-Key credentials from the Eduroam Wi-Fi Network, please use the following instructions to forget the network.

On your Pixel, navigate to the Settings page by putting your finger at the top of the device home page and swiping down. On the page that opens, press on the Gear Icon to get to the Settings page.

In the Settings page, open “Connections” by pressing the Connections button.

In the Connections page, open “Wi-Fi” by pressing the Wi-Fi button. Make certain that the slider is to the right.
Press the three dots on the top right of the Wi-Fi page.

On the box that opens, press the “Advanced” button.
