You can access your Cisco Unity voicemail mailbox by dialing 4-MAIL (4-6245), or by pressing the voicemail button and entering your voicemail security PIN.

You can access your Cisco Unity voicemail mailbox by dialing 405-744-MAIL (405-744-6245) and entering your voicemail security PIN.


How do I unlock my Cisco Unity voicemail mailbox if I get locked out of my mailbox?

The Cisco Unity voicemail system is not set up to lock access to mailboxes. If a user is receiving an error message that their voicemail mailbox in the Cisco Unity system has been locked then the mailbox should automatically unlock within one minute.


How do I clear the red voicemail notification on my desk phone?

To clear the red voicemail notification on your desk phone, please check your Cisco Unity voicemail mailbox to make sure that there are not any new messages waiting in the system. If you have checked your voicemail inbox and your red voicemail notification light is still on, please contact the IT Helpdesk at 405-744-HELP (4357) or helpdesk@okstate.edu.

How do I delete a voicemail message in the Cisco Unity voicemail system?

You must first access your Cisco Unity voicemail mailbox as new and saved messages are automatically played. To delete a voicemail message in the Cisco Unity voicemail system press the 3 key on the number pad while listening to messages.

What is a Call Handler in the Cisco Unity voicemail system?

Call Handlers in the Cisco Unity voicemail system are the same as call processors in the AVST voicemail system. Call Handlers accept phone calls, greet callers with recorded prompts, and allow to automatically route calls to individual(s). Call Handlers can also route calls to a voicemail mailbox.

For example, a call handler can be a general office phone number that prompts users to press a button on their phone, and route their call to different individuals within an office.


How do I recover a deleted voicemail message from my Landline or Voice over IP (VOIP) phone?

Once a voicemail message is deleted from the voicemail box associated with your Landline or Voice over IP (VOIP) phone then the message cannot be recovered.


How do I forward a voicemail message from my Landline or Voice Over IP (VoIP) phone to another Landline or Voice Over IP (VoIP) phone?

To forward a voicemail message from your Landline or Voice over IP (VoIP) phone to another Landline or VoIP phone, after listening to the voicemail message that you want to forward press the 5 key on the number pad. After recording a greeting message and entering the phone number you wish to forward the voicemail message, press the # key on the number pad to forward the voicemail message.


How do I complete the self-enrollment process for my Cisco Unity voicemail mailbox from an OSU campus phone?

You can complete the self-enrollment process for your Cisco Unity voicemail mailbox by dialing 4-MAIL (4-6245) or by pressing the voicemail button, enter the default PIN of 00000, then the # key on the number pad, and follow the prompts to set up your standard greeting and new voicemail PIN.


How do I change my security PIN number to access my Cisco Unity voicemail mailbox?

If you know your current security PIN for your Cisco Unity voicemail mailbox, you can access your Cisco Unity voicemail mailbox using your current security PIN then press 4, 3, then 1 on the number pad to change your security PIN.

After recording your alternate greeting press 3 then the # key on the number pad to turn on your alternate greeting.
