Add-ins are available for the following products.

  • OneNote

  • Outlook

  • PowerPoint

  • Project

  • SharePoint
  • Teams
  • Word

Device types that support add-ins

Add-ins are available for several device types.

  • Office (Web)

  • Windows

  • Mac

  • iPad

  • Android devices

Getting Started

1. Check if your requested app/add-in has received the Microsoft 365 Certification. Please reference the below link for the corresponding Microsoft application:

2. If the app/add-in that you wish to use is listed in the links above as having Microsoft 365 Certification, please submit a request to be granted permissions to use the add-in.

3. If the app/add-in that you wish to use is not listed in in the links above as having Microsoft 365 Certification, you will need to submit a request to the app’s developers to obtain the Microsoft 365 Certification. How do I view O365 add-ins that I have permissions to

Web Application Add-Ins Viewing

  1. Open application

  2. Click Insert on the top ribbon, select Office Add-ins.

  3. Click the Admin Managed tab on the top.

  4. From here you can view all the currently available Office 365 add-ins.

Desktop Application Add-ins Viewing

  1. Open application

  2. Click Insert on the top ribbon, then select My Add-ins.

  3. Click the Admin Managed tab on the top.

How do I request permissions be removed from an O365 add-in

  1. Start a support ticket by using this link Request Help.

  2. Provide the following information.

    1. Add-in name

    2. Users / Groups needing add-in removed

      1. Users list by each email address

      2. Groups list by each group name

  3. Request processed and permissions to add-in granted if approved.
