Issues connecting to VPN on MacOS

This Knowledge Base is to assist in connecting to the VPN on a MacOS device.

This self-help article will help students, staff, faculty and alumni to connect to the VPN on MacOS.

The user of this article must have a MacOS device to successfully accomplish the following procedures.

Go to your Settings
Click General
Select "Login Items & Extensions" (or "Login Items") on the right.
Scroll down to the section labeled "Allow in the Background" or "App Background Activity."
Look for "Cisco," "Cisco Secure Client" or "Cisco Secure Client - AnyConnect VPN Service."
Make sure all of them are toggled on.
Try connecting to the OSUVPN again.
