Security Certificates

Overview

SSL/TLS digital certificates are used to secure servers and websites by encrypting communications between the server and users.

At Oklahoma State University, we issue these certificates through InCommon, a trusted higher-education federation, backed by Sectigo Certificate Authority (CA). This ensures that all OSU-hosted servers and websites meet industry-standard security practices and are recognized as secure by modern browsers.

Certificates are available to faculty and staff at the Stillwater, Okmulgee, CHS, Tulsa, and OKC campuses.
