Overview
The service offering involves modifying a Database Parameter of an existing Oracle Database. Modifying a parameter is the same as changing the configuration of the database. The majority of Database Parameters have a default value, but that value may not meet the performance needs of the database. The Database Parameters without default values have to be set during database creation.
