Clearing your cache and cookies in Google Chrome can fix many common browsing issues — such as pages not loading correctly, outdated content displaying, or login problems. Follow the steps below for your device.
โ Why Clear Your Cache and Cookies?
- Cache — Removes temporarily stored website files that may be outdated or corrupted.
- Cookies — Removes stored login sessions and site preferences that may be causing errors.
- Together, these steps often resolve: pages that won't load, login loops, outdated content after a site update, and slow page loading.
๐ป Clear Cache & Cookies on Windows
Estimated time: Under 2 minutes | Requires: Google Chrome installed on Windows 10 or 11
- Open Google Chrome on your Windows PC.
- Click the three-dot menu ( โฎ ) in the upper-right corner of the browser.
- Select Settings.
- In the left sidebar, click Privacy and security.
- Click Delete browsing data.
- In the dialog box that appears:
- Set the Time range to All time (recommended).
- Check the boxes for Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
- Click Delete data.
- Restart Chrome and try accessing your site again.

- Cached Images and Files

- Tap Done and reopen your website.
