Step 6 — Troubleshooting Tips⌛ ~5 min

If you are having trouble connecting to NEO_Guest, try these common fixes:

  1. Network not appearing: Toggle Wi-Fi off and back on, then wait 10 seconds for networks to refresh.
  2. Wrong password error: Double-check that you are entering Neoguest exactly as shown — the password is case-sensitive.
  3. Connected but no internet: Try forgetting the network and reconnecting. On Windows, right-click NEO_Guest and select Forget. On macOS, go to System Settings > Wi-Fi, click the More Info button next to the network, and click Forget This Network.
  4. Weak signal: Move closer to a Wi-Fi access point. Access points are located throughout campus buildings.
  5. Device won't connect after multiple attempts: Restart your device completely and try again.
  6. If none of these steps work, contact the IT Help Desk using the information below.
⚠️ Warning: NEO_Guest is an open guest network. Avoid accessing sensitive personal or financial information while connected. Use a VPN if you need additional security.
