Purpose

This self-help article will help Canvas users to fix a common error when clicking a Zoom link in Canvas

Requirements

Step-by-Step Procedures

  1. Microsoft Edge: 
    • Visit edge://settings/privacy/trackingPrevention/trackerExceptions in Edge
    • Add https://canvas.okstate.edu to the exceptions list 
  2. Mozilla Firefox:
    • On the upper left corner, Click on the shield in the upper-left corner
    • Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
    • Disable the Enhanced Tracking Protection setting
    • Clear the cache and cookies for https://canvas.okstate.edu
  3. Google Chrome
    • Visit chrome://settings/cookies
    • Enable the "Do Not Track" requestUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
    • Add zoom.us and zoom.com to the Sites Allowed list

Verification

Following the steps in this section will verify the steps in the previous section were completed successfully.

  1. Restart the browser you are currently using
  2. Check to see if the link is working properly
