This General Documentation article will help Students and EIT Staff to understand what is in the Eligible To Activate email, and how the information is used.
General Information
The Eligible to Activate email will be sent by the email webteam@okstate.edu, and will have the subject line "Your OSU Orange Key Account Is Ready to Activate".
Listed below is what is stated in the Eligible to Activate email:

Welcome to Oklahoma State University! You are receiving this message because your Orange Key (or O-Key) account is ready to activate. It is important for every OSU student and employee to activate an O-Key account. This action establishes your official University username and password needed to login to OSU e-mail and many of the University's online systems. Crucial University communications will be sent to your OSU e-mail address, such as enrollment and scholarship information, Bursar bill, and payroll notifications.

Please activate your O-Key account now. To activate your account, copy and paste okey.okstate.edu into your web browser, then click on the 'O-Key Account Activation' icon on the O-Key Account Services web page. You will need the unique PIN provided above during O-Key activation. For more information on how to activate your O-Key account and what it provides, please visit our O-Key Activation Website.
