Intended Audience: Anyone with a Office 365 and Cowboymail account
Purpose
The purpose of this article is to show how to resolve the error "device limit reached" with OneDrive / Office 365 apps
Requirements
The user must have Office365 and a working Cowboymail account
Step-by-Step Procedures
- Go to cowboymail.okstate.edu
- Click your profile picture on the top right corner
- Click view account
- Click manage devices
- You can now remove any devices you no longer use or devices that you don't recognize (security issue)
Verification
Following the steps in this section will verify the steps in the previous section were completed successfully.
- Try signing in from the device that gave you the error; error will be gone now.
Please note that OneDrive is a core part of the Microsoft 365 suite, and as such can only be installed on 5 devices at the maximum.
