Purpose
This Self-Help article will help Students, Staff, Faculty, Alumni, and Retirees to check how much storage they have used in OneDrive.
Requirements
The user of this article must have access to OneDrive in order to successfully accomplish the following procedures.
Step-by-Step Procedures
- Go to onedrive.com
- Click "Sign in" on the top right-hand side of your screen and sign in with your O-Key account information.
- If you are already signed in at the top right, in the left center part of your screen you should see something that says "Microsoft OneDrive", below that click "Sign In". and sign in with your O-Key account information.

- Once signed in, look at the bottom left-hand side of your screen. You should see something that says "Storage".
- Below where it says "Storage", you should see the amount of storage that is being used compared to how much you can use.
- Look at the photo below. As long as the number in the red box on the left is less than 1 Terabyte (TB), which is in the red box on the right, you are below the maximum storage limit.
- For clarification purposes, a Megabyte (MB) is less than a Gigabyte (GB). So 1000 Megabytes is equal to 1 Gigabyte, and 1000 Gigabytes is equal to 1 Terabyte (TB).
