This article explains how to restore a deleted channel in Teams.

Step-by-Step Procedures

Teams web app
  1. Open Microsoft Teams.
  2. Select the Team where the deleted channel belonged.
  3. Click on the 3 dots to the right of the team name.
  4. Select Manage Team.
  5. Select the Channels menu.
  6. Select the 4 More drop-down menu
  7. Select Deleted List.
  8. Select Channel.
  9. Click the "Restore" option on the right-hand side of the screen for the deleted channel.
  10. Confirm the restoration via the prompt.
Teams desktop app
  1. Open Microsoft Teams.
  2. Select the Team where the deleted channel belonged.
  3. Click on the 3 dots to the right of the team name.
  4. Select Manage Team.
  5. Select the Channels menu.
  6. Select the 4 More drop-down menu
  7. Select Deleted List.
  8. Select Channel.
  9. Click the "Restore" option on the right-hand side of the screen for the deleted channel.
