Intended Audience: Any user that has an inactive IDMS account which can include Faculty, Staff, Students, Student Workers.
Purpose
If you cannot locate your Eligible to Activate email, this self-help article will guide you through the steps to have it resent.
The Eligible to Activate email is sent to your alternate email address once your account is ready for activation.
The alternate email address on your IDMS account should match the one you provided during your employment sign-up or student application submission.
This email includes your PIN number, which is one of the key pieces of information required to activate your IDMS account.
If you did not submit your Social Security Number during student admission, the email will also contain a 5-digit temporary student identification number. You will use this temporary ID in place of the last five digits of your SSN during the activation process.
Requirements
The user of this article must have an IDMS account that is eligible to activate to request a resend of the eligible to activate email. Please see the following procedures.
Step by Step Procedures
- Go to the EIT Client Portal Home and click on the 'Resend Eligible to Activate Email' button. Fill out and submit the form.
Verification
If the request was successful you'll receive the Eligible to Activate email at your alternate email address.
