Purpose
This self-help article will assist end users with having their Banner PIN sent to their alternate email address or cell phone number in Campus Alerts (Rave Mobility).
The most common reason is for students who need to give their Banner PIN to their advisor to enroll.
If you do not have a student or employee assignment in your account, contact the Registrar (student) or HR department (employee) of the campus you are attending or attended to get a Banner PIN sent to you.
Requirements
The user of this article must have an active IDMS account in order to successfully accomplish the following procedures.
Step by Step Procedures

Log in to your schools IDMS system:

Click on the Receive Banner PIN link on the left hand side of the page.

Select the radio button next to the method you would like to receive the PIN (Alternate Email or Text Message).
NOTE: You must have an alternate email on file in your account to see the Alternate Email option. You must have a Mobile1 number in Rave Mobility to see the Text Message option.

Click the Submit button.
Verification
You will receive the Banner PIN via the method that you chose (alternate email or text message).
