If you are receiving error "Invalid Profile" when you are trying to begin an exam in Respondus LockDown Browser, please do the following:

  1. Confirm that you are putting the correct URL for Canvas by going to the "Canvas Link" Knowledge Base article found under the "Related Article" section of this article
  2. If you are putting in the link correctly, reach out to your professor, explaining what is going on. Respondus has an email template that you can use in the Respondus Support article if you are having issues explaining.
