☁️ What OneDrive Is For Reference  |  ~2 minutes
OneDrive is your own NEO file storage. It is not a shared department drive and it is not a backup of your whole computer.
  1. Files in OneDrive are reachable from any computer, and from a phone.
  2. They survive a laptop being lost, stolen, or replaced.
  3. You choose who else can see each file — nothing is shared by default.
⚠️ Note: Work several people own belongs in a Teams channel, which stores files in SharePoint. OneDrive is yours; a team’s files should outlive your account.
🚨 Warning: Files kept only on your computer’s desktop or C: drive are not backed up by NEO IT. If a machine fails, they are gone. Anything you would be sorry to lose belongs in OneDrive.
